Cortland LGBTQ Center

The Mission of the Cortland LGBTQ Center is to create a visible and empowered community through education, advocacy, resource enhancement, and linkages to essential services for all lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer-identified people, as well as their families and other supportive community members.

Family & Children's Counseling Services is committed to serving all clients regardless of race, color, sex, national origin, disability, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, or ability to pay.

The Cortland LGBTQ Center is a division of Family & Children's Counseling Services and we are located
at 165 Main Street in Cortland, NY.

Hi everyone! In an effort to help minimize the impact of the Corona Virus (COVID-19), The Center will be closed to visitors for the foreseeable future. All in-person groups and meetings are cancelled.

However, please know that our staff is still available to you. Please feel free to reach out via email (sadams@familycs.org) or phone (607-756-8970 extension 253 for Sam) or here on Facebook.

We have scheduled some of our groups using Google Hangouts for anyone who wants to speak "face to face" virtually. See the image below for instructions on how to join our virtual sessions.

The 2020 LGBTQ Community Survey is now live! Click the image to get started.

In order to improve the services that we provide to the community, we need your feedback and insight. All responses are anonymous. The more responses we get, the more data we will have to improve The Center. Thank you!
